Aigen has raised $12 million in the recent Series A round. The lead investor in the round was ReGen Ventures, along with NEA, Cleveland Avenue, Incite, and Susquehanna Private Equity Investments LLP.

Aigen is an AI-tech robotics company that has developed solar-powered autonomous robots for agricultural management without any chemicals. The robotics service provided by the startup reduces farmers’ workload and their reliance on fossil fuels while improving yield. These autonomous robots can navigate, weed, and analyze row crops, which helps farmers scale and produce healthier crops that are chemical-free.

The startup will use the new investment to expand its manufacturing capacity to meet high pre-order demand and make the agricultural sector more profitable, sustainable, and decarbonized.

The company’s Co-founders are Kenny Lee (CEO) and Richard Wurden (CTO), and it is headquartered in Kirkland, Washington, United States.
