Belgium-based IntelliProve, a pioneering medtech startup, has successfully raised €1.25 million in seed funding to expand its innovative health-monitoring solutions across Europe. The round was led by Miles Ahead and joined by Wit-Gele Kruis, imec.istart Fund, and prominent tech entrepreneurs such as Jeroen De Wit, Louis Jonckheere, and others. Existing investors, including The White and Yellow Cross and angel investors, also participated in the financing.

Founded in 2021, IntelliProve specializes in optical face scanning technology to measure health parameters such as heart rate, respiratory rate, and stress within seconds using a smartphone camera. By integrating advanced signal processing and computer vision, the company delivers “digital biopsies” that enhance preventive healthcare, making it more accessible and personalized. Their technology is offered as a plug-in solution for digital platforms in digital health, corporate well-being, and health insurance sectors.

“With this strategic investment, we are ready to refine our solution further and expand across Europe,” said Brecht Dhuyvetters, co-founder and CPO. He emphasized IntelliProve’s commitment to creating an inclusive and user-friendly product that lowers barriers to preventive healthcare.

The company already operates in Belgium, The Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Italy, France, Germany, and Denmark, serving notable clients like Helan and Neutraal Ziekenfonds Vlaanderen. With CE-marking as a medical device and ISO27001 certification, IntelliProve has built a robust reputation for quality and reliability in the digital health space.

Joeri Tulkens, co-founder and co-CEO, expressed excitement about the funding, saying, “This isn’t just about the numbers; it’s about impacting millions of lives with accessible and personalized healthcare. The support from tech leaders and our research partners comes at the perfect time to help us scale further.”

The funding will be used to enhance the technology, scale operations, and refine the product for a broader European rollout. IntelliProve’s collaboration with organizations such as Het Wit-Gele Kruis, TU Delft, vzw Zorg-Saam, and imec.istart has positioned it as a leader in integrating advanced technologies with healthcare.

Luc Burgelman, founder of Miles Ahead, praised IntelliProve’s innovative approach: “Their technology stands out for its potential to transform preventive healthcare. We’re confident this investment will enable them to make a meaningful impact on millions of lives.”

With its revolutionary platform and strong backing from industry leaders, IntelliProve is set to redefine preventive healthcare through cutting-edge optical scanning technology.
