Skill-gaming platform Mobile Premier League (MPL) has acquired a significant stake in Lumikai-backed CloudFeather Games.
The strategic move combines market leadership with CloudFeather’s cutting-edge gaming infrastructure solutions, reinforcing its market leadership in the rapidly evolving gaming ecosystem, MPL said in a press release.
Co-founded in 2021 by Romi Chandra and Kunal Dawn, CloudFeather creates a multi-card game network and develops technical infrastructure for gaming platforms. The platform focuses on building technology tools for game developers, including server infrastructure and wallet integration systems, among others.
According to the Bengaluru-based CloudFeather, it has introduced several technological innovations such as formulating a proprietary high-performance gaming infrastructure, building scalable shared game servers, advancing wallet integration systems, sophisticated liquidity management solutions, and pioneering innovative SDKs for game monetization and engagement. Through these solutions, the platform has enabled gaming platforms to power performance, operations, and user experience.
MPL will leverage this technology stack to further strengthen its tech capabilities. The combined expertise is expected to enhance gaming experiences for MPL’s more than 120 million users in India, the US, and Nigeria.
