Pimloc raises 5 million

Pimloc, a London-based AI video privacy startup, has raised $5 million in strategic investment to support its ambitious global expansion plans. The round was led by Amadeus Capital Partners and Edge Ventures, with participation from Zetta Venture Partners, MD One, and Symvan Capital.

The new funding comes at a time when video content is the most sensitive and widely used form of data, driving the demand for secure and privacy-compliant video solutions. Pimloc’s flagship product, Secure Redact, uses AI to automatically detect and anonymize sensitive content such as personally identifiable information (PII) across video, audio, and imagery.

Built entirely in-house, Secure Redact has already anonymized nearly half a billion instances of PII and is deployed across industries including healthcare, law enforcement, education, transport, insurance, and retail. The platform is available via SaaS, APIs, and private cloud infrastructure, helping organizations comply with rising privacy and transparency standards.

Pimloc has seen over 120% year-on-year growth in the adoption of its platform and is now scaling into new regions, sectors, and multimodal workflows. This rapid growth is supported by a strong channel partner network, with integrations across major platforms like Microsoft, Eagle Eye Networks, Milestone Systems, and Rhombus Systems.

According to Pimloc CEO Simon Randall, the company is entering a pivotal phase of expansion, backed by investors who bring not only capital but deep expertise in AI, cybersecurity, and infrastructure. These partnerships are expected to open up new high-impact use cases and support Pimloc’s goal to become the global standard in privacy-first video intelligence.

The global video surveillance market, estimated at $73.8 billion in 2024, and the projected $94.6 billion video analytics industry by 2034 highlight the increasing importance of platforms like Pimloc. With cybersecurity concerns intensifying in Europe and globally, the need for privacy-first solutions has never been more urgent.

Pimloc plans to expand its presence in privacy-sensitive sectors like fintech, public safety, education, and creative content compliance, while strengthening its partner ecosystem.

With mission-aligned investors on board and a robust technology foundation, Pimloc is well-positioned to lead the next generation of secure, compliant video technology worldwide.
