RoboForce

RoboForce, a pioneer in the development of advanced “Robo-Labor” solutions, has announced a $10 million early-stage funding round. The investment comes from prominent backers, including Nobel Laureate Myron Scholes, co-founder of Softbank VC Gary Rieschel, and Carnegie Mellon University. The funding will accelerate RoboForce’s mission to deploy its cutting-edge robots across various industries, transforming labor-intensive tasks in hazardous and extreme conditions.

Emerging from stealth, RoboForce is preparing to roll out its Robo-Labor system to early customers this year. Designed to tackle severe labor shortages and improve project efficiency, the robots are equipped with unparalleled precision and capabilities. With 1mm accuracy for tasks like picking, twisting, and assembling, combined with all-terrain mobility and compliance with safety standards, RoboForce’s system sets a new benchmark in AI robotics.

The applications of RoboForce’s technology span diverse sectors, including solar energy, manufacturing, space, and mining. Initial customers include developers of commercial and utility-scale solar projects, many of which face challenges hiring skilled labor due to extreme environmental conditions. RoboForce’s robots are engineered to endure harsh environments, helping expedite the construction and installation of renewable energy projects. This advancement supports the global push for sustainability and decarbonization while addressing critical labor shortages.

“Myron Scholes highlighted the dual impact of RoboForce’s innovations, stating, ‘Labor shortages and decarbonization are two global trends, and RoboForce is uniquely positioned to address both.’ He emphasized the company’s potential to create significant value by solving pressing challenges in industrial labor.

Founder and CEO Leo Ma commented, “Our mission at RoboForce is to develop robotics that elevate humanity by eliminating the most tedious, dangerous, and physically demanding jobs. By redefining industrial labor with high-intelligence ‘super workers,’ we aim to make the future of work safer, more efficient, and sustainable.”

With its advanced AI-driven robotic systems, RoboForce is poised to redefine industrial labor while driving critical progress in renewable energy and other essential sectors. The newly secured funding will support the company’s efforts to expand operations and deploy its transformative technology globally.
