SAN FRANCISCO, CA, Volley, the leading creator of voice-controlled games played on TVs and smart speakers, announced today the closing of its Series C fundraising round.
The $55 million round is co-led by Microsoft’s M12 Ventures and Lightspeed Venture Partners. Lightspeed also led Volley’s Series A round in 2020 and co-led the Company’s Series B round in 2022. Causeway Media Partners, General Catalyst, the Amazon Alexa Fund, BITKRAFT Ventures, Y Combinator, Boost VC, Alumni Ventures, Waverley, Gaingels, and Riverside participated in the latest round.
Volley was founded by Max Child and James Wilsterman in 2016. Volley was one of the first developers to create games for the Amazon Alexa platform. In 2023, Volley launched a gaming hub on the Roku platform and a mobile application for iOS and Android devices.
