Aqua Security, a cloud-native security company, has raised $60 million in additional funding as an extension to its Series E round, elevating its valuation to over $1 billion. The investment was led by Evolution Equity Partners, with participation from existing investors Insight Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and StepStone Group.

Aqua Security is one of the leading cloud-native security platforms that provides prevention, detection, and automated response across the entire application lifecycle, from code to cloud and back. The company also provides a $1 million cloud-native protection warranty, which makes it incomparable to any other similar company in the industry.

“Aqua Security has built an innovative cloud security solution. Given the increasing adoption of cloud-native applications, Aqua’s growth trajectory is a rocket ship,” said Yuval Ben-Itzhak, General Partner at Evolution Equity Partners.

The company’s co-founders are Dror Davidoff (CEO) and Amir Jerbi (CTO), and it is headquartered in Burlington, Massachusetts, United States.
