Medulance, a pioneering player in India’s emergency healthcare services sector, announced today that it has successfully secured $3 million in Series A funding. This investment round was led by Alkemi Growth Capital, with participation from Dexter Capital, Aman Gupta, and Namita Thapar.

The funds raised will be instrumental in expanding Medulance’s presence across the country, with a particular focus on leveraging emergency management technology to address challenges in the execution of services at scale. This includes further reducing emergency call answering time and improving emergency services response time in more than 500 cities throughout India.

Pranav Bajaj, Co-founder and CEO of Medulance, expressed his gratitude for the support from investors, stating, “This funding marks an important milestone for Medulance. With the support of our investors, we are poised to scale our operations and further elevate the standards of emergency healthcare across India.”

Ravjot Singh Arora, Co-Founder and COO of Medulance, highlighted the company’s achievements over the past six years, stating, “In the last 6 years, we have grown our fleet up to 10,000 ambulances, reaching 500+ cities PAN India, and improving the dispatch time of emergency ambulances from 5 to 2 minutes. Through this capital, Medulance would leverage the latest technology including 5G and smart remote monitoring via its smart ambulances to create a 360-degree ecosystem by partnering with corporates, governments, and insurance companies.”

Medulance, known for its commitment to excellence and innovation, aims to make a significant impact in India’s healthcare landscape. The company plans to expand its services to over 1,000 cities within the next 15-18 months, prioritizing patient safety and quality of care in every region. Additionally, Medulance aims to establish public-private partnerships to extend its services to 3-4 more states in the coming years.

With a fleet of 10,000 ambulances and 1000 health experts, Medulance offers comprehensive emergency medical services across India. From stationed ambulances to 5G smart medical clinics, the company is dedicated to providing reliable and efficient healthcare solutions. Medulance recently unveiled India’s first 5G-enabled ‘Smart Medical Room’ in Gurgaon, setting a new standard for corporate wellness by integrating advanced diagnostics and telemedicine.

The funding received will also support Medulance’s recently launched Medulance Healthcare Academy, which aims to address the challenge of quality training for paramedics in the emergency response space. By expanding its education vertical, Medulance seeks to improve standards of care through a highly trained paramedic workforce.

As Medulance continues its mission to make quality emergency services accessible nationwide, the company remains committed to its core values of reliability, excellence, and innovation. Partnerships with government agencies and major corporations underscore Medulance’s dedication to elevating standards and ensuring prompt responses to critical situations.
