Nūmi (formerly MUMilk) has raised €3 million in the recent pre-seed funding round. The investment included support from Heartcore Capital, HCVC, Financière Saint-James, Kima Ventures, and Kost Capital.

Nūmi is a biotech startup developing milk for infants with all the properties of breast milk. When breastfeeding is not an option, parents usually choose the available products on the market, like milk powder, etc., which are developed from cow milk and do not have all the compounds and nutrients of breast milk that are essential for the development of the infant. This new innovative product by Nūmi will help parents and offer them a natural choice when it is not possible to breastfeed.

The company’s Co-founders are Eden Banon-Lagrange (CEO) and Eugénie Pezé-Heidsieck (CTO), and it is headquartered in Suresnes, Île-de-France, France.
